Placement Services is currently offered in Elkhart, St. Joseph, LaPorte, Porter, Marshall, Kosciusko, Starke and Lake counties. The primary clientele is referred from the Office of Vocational Rehabilitation. This program is offered to individuals with disabilities that need assistance in locating employment that can accommodate any limitation.

Individuals receive individualized services to complete applications, create resumes, write cover letters, conduct effective job searches, and gain employment. Once an individual finds employment, the staff at Goodwill provide follow-along services to the new employee and the employer to ensure that a successful transition has occurred.

Should an accommodation be required the staff will work with the employer and new employee to find the right accommodation at the lowest cost. At times the staff can work with other agencies to find payment assistance should there be a higher cost involved for the accommodation.
