(South Bend, IN / April 7, 2010) – Goodwill Industries of Michiana, Inc. will host a WNDU-TV “Fill-A-Truck Donation Drive” at their Grape Road Retail Store in Mishawaka on Saturday, April 17th from 7:00 am through 11:00 am. Donations remain a critical need for Goodwill during these challenging economic times. “We’ve seen an increase in our customer base as many are visiting our stores for the first time to find an affordable alternative for the clothing and household merchandise they need. Unfortunately, at the same time, donations are down. Spring is finally here and its time to clear out the clutter. We want to encourage everyone to help us Fill-A-Truck,” comments Dennis Freeland, Executive Vice President. A Goodwill truck will be parked conveniently near Grape Road in an open lot adjacent to the store. Those who donate will receive a Discount Shopping Coupon with a tax receipt and children will each receive a free stuffed animal. There will be coffee from Starbucks and Krispy Kreme doughnuts available. Donors will also receive coupons from Krispy Kreme, Sonic and Chick-fil-A. The Sonic Roller Skating Servers will be on-hand to help unload donations. The Goodwill truck will be available from 7:00 am until 11:00 am. Those who wish to donate later in the day may do so at any Goodwill Retail Store Donation Drive-Thru.
